There were two missions of note Bob Kerry was involved in. One for which he received the Medal of Honor (which is disputed in some circles) occurred in Nha Trang 25 miles north of Cam Ranh; the other is the massacre at Thanh Phong in the Mekong Delta. We are told it was on an island near Cam Ranh for sure, BUT cannot find any island called Thanh Phong on a map near there. It is important as an eye witness American Vet said he scaled a wall on an island for this Kerrey led massacre. I will be in Viet Nam in August & hope to check it out.
