My state put me under a "formal investigation," because I followed the ethical rule about reporting a judge for misconduct. That was 2 years ago. Since then they have treated me atrociously. They did the same thing in the 1990's to another lawyer for reporting a judge. If there is the slightest disagreement between a judge and a lawyer, the lawyer is always punished. Previously I was given a Special Act Award by the US Government for work "above and beyond" duty. But my state advertised me nationwide as "a threat to the public," after breaking every law and rule in the book, including the US Constitution. Lawless? Yes they are. I feel like I fell into Alice in Wonderland's rabbit hole, with not rule or law to grab onto, because no one will enforce them. Our nation is an oligarchy and the courts rule. They say it is OK to ignore the fact that Congress must be the agency to declare war. They have said who is President. No lawyer can speak against them. Lawyers in all states are now "on the short lease" by the "Disciplinary Counsels." The one in my state broke all the rules and laws. They said I am personally "incompetent,: even though I am a published author (MIT Press). They tried to force an attorney on me to control my defense of my law license. The Supreme Court here does not care about due process or anything but their unwritten rules and laws. Their first commandment is: Thou shall not report a judge. Meanwhile, my sister in another state is being viciously attacked in court by her abusive husband, and the court is allowing it. I wonder if this lawlessness is going on in the other states. Peace.
